"Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis."
This course will also require learners to complete a two hour pre-work module prior to the Instructor Led Training on the 20th. Internet access is required for this Blended Virtual MHFA Training.
There is no fee for this training, costs are covered by a Social Justice Grant from the Diocese of Scranton. A continental breakfast and a light lunch will be provided.
