A Dialogue Focused on Accompaniment:  30+ years of Mental Illness Ministry
      January 31 at 2:00PM ET

Accompanying someone along their spiritual journey can be a rewarding experience. Doing that while the person or their family member is living with a mental illness or mental health challenge can be more difficult, but perhaps more rewarding, too. Join us as we learn from two Catholics who have been walking with other Catholics in their Mental Illness Ministry in the Archdiocese of Chicago, Deacon Tom Lambert and Spiritual Director Rita Lambert.

Tom and Rita will share their knowledge and experience through a dialogue with Dr Margery Arnold, a Licensed Psychologist in California who comes to this ministry as a family member and with her own lived experience with mental illness. Margery contributes to the ministry in the Diocese of Orange.  Deacon Lambert and Dr Arnold are both on the founding board of the CMHM.

    • An Advent Reflection and Journey to Wholeness

    • November 2022
As we reflect on our unrealized hopes, dreams, and expectations that can result from experiences with mental illness, Deacon Adam Michaele (and CMHM Board Member) guides us in looking to Mary's journey.  How can Mary's response and actions during the Annunciation and her journey to Bethlehem help bring about a renewed sense of wholeness in our lives this Christmas Season?

We entrust our mission to Our Lady of Lourdes who is the special patroness for healing.
May our Lady guide us so that  those who live with a mental illness know that they are surrounded by her and her Son's healing presence
and remember that they are never alone.
